About Ada Peng
Exceptional care should not lose to better marketing.
I'm Ada Peng, a healthcare marketing consultant who helps clinics and healthcare brands turn searches into trust, and trust into qualified patient inquiries.
For more than 10 years, I've worked across paid search, organic search, AI search, websites, copy, conversion tracking, and technical implementation to help the right people discover and choose the right care.

Mission
Great clinics should not be the best-kept secret in town.
Patients do not always choose the clinic providing the best care.
They choose the clinic they can find, understand, and trust.
That means an exceptional clinic can remain overlooked while another stays full simply because its marketing makes the decision easier.
I built my work around closing that gap.
I believe clinics grow best when their marketing works as one connected system.
Paid search, organic search, AI search, websites, messaging, tracking, and intake should all work together to help the right people discover the clinic, understand what makes it different, and take the next step.
What shaped my approach
Design taught me to notice where people get lost.
Before I worked across advertising, search, analytics, and technical implementation, I earned a Bachelor’s in Urban and Rural Planning from SCUT in China.
That lesson now shapes how I approach healthcare marketing.
A campaign is not just a collection of keywords. A website is not just a group of pages. And a patient inquiry is not simply a conversion event.
Every touchpoint either helps someone feel informed and confident, or gives them another reason to hesitate.
In 2020, I earned a dual master's degree in City Planning and Urban Spatial Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania, where I continued developing the strategic and analytical side of my work.
The path here
I did not set out to become a healthcare marketing consultant.
My career developed at the intersection of design, growth, technology, and human behavior.
Over more than a decade, I learned how to build acquisition systems, write messages people understand, measure what happens after someone clicks, and connect marketing activity to meaningful business results.
I ran marketing for companies backed by Y Combinator, Google, and Acquisition.com. I worked across strategy, websites, copy, analytics, advertising, and implementation.
That range was deliberate.
The hardest marketing problems rarely belong to one discipline. Solving the whole problem requires understanding how those pieces work together.
Eventually, that work brought me to healthcare. And in healthcare, the responsibility of marketing felt different.

Why I chose healthcare
Choosing care is not an ordinary buying decision.
Someone searching for a clinician may be worried, uncertain, overwhelmed, or trying to help someone they love.
When I searched for care myself, I was trying to understand:
- Is this the right kind of care?
- Is this clinic qualified to help?
- Will I be understood?
- Can I trust these people?
- What happens after I reach out?
Too many search results left me with more questions than answers.
I recognized a problem I knew how to help solve: making good care easier to find, understand, and choose.
I want healthcare to work better for all of us. Clearer marketing is one practical way I can contribute.

What I believe
The principles behind my work
Clarity is part of care.
Prospective patients deserve to understand quickly whether a clinic can help them.
Qualified inquiries create stronger growth.
The strongest marketing attracts people the clinic is equipped and qualified to serve.
Marketing should reveal reality.
Good measurement makes the business easier to understand and the next decision easier to make.
Strategy should follow the problem.
Google Ads, SEO, AEO, GEO, websites, and content solve different problems. The right mix depends on the clinic, its market, its capacity, and where prospective patients are getting stuck.
Credibility and growth reinforce each other.
Healthcare marketing can be ethical, persuasive, and effective at the same time.
Intake completes the system.
Marketing becomes growth when prospective patients receive a prompt, thoughtful, and consistent response.
Beyond the work
There is more to me than conversion tracking.
I grew up in Guangzhou, China, where I first became interested in design and marketing.
I earned a Bachelor's in Urban and Rural Planning from SCUT in China, and later a dual master's degree in City Planning and Urban Spatial Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania. That combination of planning and analysis still shapes how I approach problems today.
Outside work, I'm usually working out, reading as much as I can about AI, or maintaining an increasingly serious search for the best dim sum in the United States.
Clients tend to learn quickly that I am punctual, thorough, and direct. I do what I say I will do, and I tell them what I genuinely think.
Press and appearances
Sometimes I talk about my work, too.
I have been invited to share what I've learned through conferences, workshops, interviews, and published content.
